Tomb Raider Switch release date – When are the spin-offs coming?

Guides

Somehow, there are no Tomb Raider Switch games yet. But don’t fret too much; there are some on the horizon and we just need to be patient for a little while longer. Lara Croft and her famous antics have had somewhat of a resurgence recently with a PowerWash Simulator DLC and mobile game releasing within a matter of weeks. Could this portend more Tomb Raider games coming to the Nintendo Switch? We hope so. All I want in life is to be able to lock a butler in a freezer again – is that so much to ask?

While we await more news, check out our speculation for Sims Nintendo Switch games, a Final Fantasy 7 Remake Switch release, and a Diablo 4 Switch release.

Tomb Raider Switch release date speculation

Currently, there’s no confirmed release date for Tomb Raider on Switch. But, we do know for sure that two games – Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light and Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris – are coming to the Nintendo Switch, hopefully sooner rather than later.

Tomb Raider Switch: Guardian of Light on a Nintendo Switch

Originally announced in 2021 with a 2022 release date, this was unfortunately pushed back to 2023, with Feral Interactive promising news in the new year. We’re eagerly awaiting this news any day now. The games will both release digitally, but Feral are aware of the demand for physical versions, so we may well get these at release too.

The two games are both multiplayer spin-offs that offer a great experience slightly differing from what we’re used to.

Temple of Osiris and Guardian of Light are the two confirmed games that are heading to the handheld platform.
